National Science Foundation Research Experiences for Undergraduates (NSF REUs)

What’s an REU?

REUs are Research Experiences for Undergraduates and are fully funded by the National Science Foundation. Students are typically assigned a mentor and work on their own research project over the summer. REUs are held at many universities and other research institutions nationwide. Students are granted stipends and are often provided assistance with housing and travel. REUs are a great opportunity for undergrads to work on their own research project and get paid for it!
